Tout est une question de perspective. En regardant la pochette d'Algleymi, on se dira : "c'est un constat d'échec de l'humanité face aux puissances cosmiques". Mais le gigantisme de cette silhouette est un signe que Misþyrming veut plutôt s'emparer de cette puissance et le black metal le confirmera très vite. Il est plus maîtrisé, massif et épique. Si le chant est déjà impressionnant, dégageant plus de haine, les guitares sont de leur côté absolument monumentales. Un chef-d'œuvre du genre !

I have to admit when I finally caved and got a Nordvis subscription and saw what appeared in my collection as a result, I thought "Sons of Crom? that sounds kinda stupid, did I make a mistake?" no, this is actually so great! really nostalgic reminding me of that fantasy power/prog metal with a hint of cheese that I loved as a teenager, it's so well done, catchy and good to listen to on the way to work and get some energy for the day.
