K. Hungus Lives Coming off of Kornog which is one of my all time favorite albums period it took me a while to really embrace this one, but wow, once you let it sink in it is equally amazing. Layered, majestic, cerebral, emotive, spiritual, with the occasional sharp edges. Just proves Belenos continues to evolve and we have to keep up! Singular metal genius at work, serious listeners will reap endless rewards. High art, in the format of metal. Favorite track: Duadenn.

Three years after "Kornog", an album dealing with the water element of Breton's sea legends, "Argoat", which means something like "land of the woods", continues where its predecessor left off and focuses on the earth element - mainly local mystic forests, wild animals and Celtic gods. It is again sung in Breton. The final track the album, "Arvestal", is a metal interpretation of a John Barry song (The Persuaders - 1971).

Argoat was recorded between November 2018 and May 2019, as usual in an old school home studio.

The first pressing of the CD comes as collectors edition in A5-Digipack, limited to 500 copies.
Also available as regular version in jewel case. Both come with 12-page booklet incl. English translations of the lyrics.

Tout est une question de perspective. En regardant la pochette d'Algleymi, on se dira : "c'est un constat d'échec de l'humanité face aux puissances cosmiques". Mais le gigantisme de cette silhouette est un signe que Misþyrming veut plutôt s'emparer de cette puissance et le black metal le confirmera très vite. Il est plus maîtrisé, massif et épique. Si le chant est déjà impressionnant, dégageant plus de haine, les guitares sont de leur côté absolument monumentales. Un chef-d'œuvre du genre ! Jordan Vauvert
